Sports Therapy

Sports Therapy has been around for many years. Initially sports therapists primarily treated injured athletes, but through experience and training it has been realised their use in addressing muscular problems including back pain, joint mobility and work related problems.

As a Sports Therapist I aim not only to help athletes and sports people to recover from injuries obtained in the sporting arena, but also people who keep fit for fun, accident victims and people with repetitive injuries from work. I am qualified to advise and treat to prevent injuries as well as to examine, assess and treat injuries that have occured.

Sports Therapy incorporates several different types of treatment depending on the independent need of a person.

These include, Massage, Cyrotherapy, Ultra-Sound Therapy, Joint Mobilization, Stretching and Strengthening.
